Paula and her two daughters, Angela and Rita, opened Apple Knockers' doors on September 11, 2009.  Located in the beautiful, historic village of Vicksburg, Michigan, Apple Knockers has become a local favorite. The menu reflects an array of homemade family recipes, like their Mean Jean Pasties and Mamma's Mac & Cheese, to good ole fashion comfort food, like 1/4lb all beef hot dogs and hamburgers. They feature over 50+ flavors of ice cream from Plainwell Ice Cream, which is made in Plainwell, Michigan, and Ashby's Sterling Ice Cream which is made in Shelby Township, Michigan. The staff supports the local community by graciously donating all of their tips to local charities and community organizations. In 2012, MLive.com conducted a statewide search for the 10 best ice cream parlors.  Apple Knockers is proud to have been voted the third best ice cream parlor in the entire state of Michigan!  

2019 marks the 10th season for Apple Knockers!  And with their 10th season, they were excited to announce that they would be moving to a NEW location just west of their current building!  220 W. Prairie Street will be their new home with the same service and food Vicksburg has come to love, but a whole lot of new fun surprises too!  Come see what exciting things are happening in the Village of Vicksburg!!
